DescriptionDxGO-POS combines the functions of the DxGO device with the functions of a GPS receiver and therewith it makes the locating and monitoring of positions of mobile devices or system as well as vehicles possible. The Position Data is shown on the display of the device. This data is transmitted to a predefined receiver e.g. in static time intervals or at the occurance of an event. Furthermore the position of the device may be queried at any time. Additionally the device has analog and digital in- and outputs as well as a data logger for remote monitoring and -controling of the systems.Status Depentdant Position MonitoringVia activating one of the inputs the device is able to store the current position and to locate possible discrepancies. If a discrepancy higher than a predinfed tolerance value is detected, it's possible to transmit a message (e.g. sms, fax e-mail, pager, voice messgae) to a default receiver. The position report is displayed in every automatically generated message caused by the DxGO-POS device.Time Dependant Position MonitoringUsing a week calendar activating dates may be defined. Position data is only transmitted, if the activating point is active.Periodic Transmission of the positionThe periodic transmission of the position data is possible via a routine call. Within static time intervals the current position is transmitted to the dialed receiver.System Monitoring and -ControlingFor the remote monitoring an -controling of the system digital and analog in- and outputs are provided. |
Position Accuracy and DisplayThe accuracy of the line item specification depends on the number of received satellites. The more satellites are available the more precicely the position data is transmitted. The display of the position data in time patterns of hours, minutes, seconds and hundredth seconds. One minute is equivalent to one nautical mile (1NM = 1,852km), so that one second is equivalent to approx. 30m. Resultant to that a display accuracy of 30cm is determined. Before the display of the degrees of lattitute and longitude the direction of the compass is shown. The accuracy of the GPS signal amounts approx. 10 to 15m.Data LoggerPosition data and measured values may be stored in a free configurable time pattern to an internal data logger.Visualization SoftwareUsing the DxPOS Locating Software the position of the devices may be shown on your PC. For Germany and nearly all european countries and countries of the world corresponding maps are availible.DxNET-POSUsing the internet control station DxNET positions of individual objects may be shown on the internet.
